Remembering with a candle...
We use the Lady Chapel for prayer and quiet contemplation, but many do not know that the oak reredos under the east window was given by his family in memory of 22-years-old RAF Corporal William Henry Lucas, who died in a Japanese prisoner of war camp in November 1944.

There are also memorials to Florence Stacey and Mary and Doreen Barton, the only civilians killed by German action in Coleshill.

The desk (remembering Florence) and the chair (remembering Mary and Doreen) are used continuously.
